What is included in my trip?

Each trip includes 2 Hunts a day with lodging, professional equipment and accessories to make the best hunting experience possible.

What is the best way to transport my firearm?

If you’re a non-resident traveling to Canada, you will need to fill out this form to legally transport your gun AND to be able to purchase ammunition in Saskatchewan. For more information, visit the Canada Border Services Agency website.

What should I pack for my trip?
  • Personal shotguns & shells for the trip (unless arranged to be provided)
  • Proper licensing to harvest waterfowl (see Licensing below)
  • Suitable clothing for warmer & cooler temperatures in the field as the weather in the prairies can change in the blink of an eye
  • Waterproof outer layers & boots as rain/snow may occur
  • Knifes, bags and cooler of birds are to be cleaned by the group
  • Wool & normal socks
  • Blind bag
  • Headlamp
What is NOT included in my trip?
  • Guns with shells
    • Shells are available at Cabelas in Saskatoon, in town, or through 52 North Outfitters
  • Licenses
  • Rental Vehicles
  • Meals
  • Gratuity (15-18% is industry standard)

LICENSING

NON-RESIDENT GAMEBIRD LICENSE

To obtain a gamebird license for your hunting experience with 52 North Outfitters, please follow the link below and follow these steps:

  • Click on Purchase A License
  • Sign In (for returning hunters) or Create An Account
  • Select Ledger Pack, Seal Pack, and the Non-Resident Game Bird License. This will also add the Saskatchewan Wildlife Habitat Certificate

You must also purchase a Migratory Game Bird Hunting Permit.
